For builders of the TT Rob, PA3EQB sent in this construction tip. The problem He suffered damage to the grounded gate R.F. amplifier. The fix he applied was.... The two diodes will limit any R.F. voltages to their conducting threshold so preventing any large R.F. Votages from damaging the FET source. After the 82pF input capacitor he connected two diodes back to back (anti-parallel) to earth and then a 10n to the source.
